Play to Grow: Tummy Time
Tummy time is a warm, play-based experience for parents and their new babies to connect and grow together. Guided by an Occupational Therapist, this supportive class transforms tummy time into a joyful part of your baby's routine helping every stretch, wiggle, and lift supporting healthy development. Along the way, you'll discover playful ways to bond, simple strategies to try at home, and confidence that you're giving baby the best part - no special equipment required. It's the perfect space for babies just beginning to explore the world from the floor and for parents who want to feel supported, connected and inspired. For babies 0-6 months old.
Why is Play to Grow: Tummy Time
Encourages baby to lift their head, push up with arms, kick legs— strengthening essential muscles supporting growth and development. Relieves pressure from baby’s skull and helps prevent flat spots and support optimal head shape.
Helps with visual sensory development, while encouraging movements like reaching, grasping, pivoting that support hand-eye coordination and motor skill development.
Helps baby gain confidence and control needed for future developmental milestones! Including rolling over, sitting independently, and crawling.
